After an extensive search and interview process, we are pleased to announce the hiring of our Executive Food and Beverage Executive Chef. Martin Woods comes with an impressive pedigree for excellence with relevant experience in the Food & Beverage industry.

Executive Chef Martin Woods, was trained in France and worked under Thomas Keller at The French Laundry. A James Beard nominated culinarian, Martin has published numerous cookbooks and opened multiple restaurants in his career. Most recently, he was the Chef at Sweet Basil where he won the prestigious Taste of Vail. Prior to his time in Colorado, Martin was the Executive Chef at Semiahmoo Resort, in Blaine, Washington, where he oversaw three dining outlets and managed 50 staff.

Originally from South Dakota, Chef martin Woods grew up working in his grandfather's restaurants. Now, running the kitchen at re:public, he specializes in local ingredients that are prepared simply, and enjoys collaborating with other chefs in the community on new ideas. Martin has cooked at 35th st. Bistro, Beato Food and Wine, Cantinetta, and Bastille.
